What does squaremap do?
squaremap creates a lightweight web map of the Minecraft world, keeping a close to vanilla-style way of mapping the terrain. The card opens in the browser if the administrator has allowed access.
Map of the game world
The system visualizes the territory and allows you to navigate the already processed bunks. Unlike a complex three-dimensional map, this format is aimed at a visual view from above and moderate maintenance costs. The posting of a map should not automatically reveal the hidden player bases and coordinates without the agreed server rules.
Set-up of web access
For a public address, you need to properly configure the port, reverse proxy, and access protection. If the card works on HTTP on a separate port, it is worth thinking about HTTPS through the main domain. Storage size and upgrade rate are determined by the configuration and size of the world.
First deployment
Run a small area render, check the display in the browser and the correctness of the links. Then expand the area of the card gradually, observing the disk usage and load during generation.
