What does SkinsRestorer do?
SkinsRestorer manages the display of player skins on compatible Minecraft servers and proxies.
Skins in network configurations
SkinsRestorer manages the appearance of characters where the regular skin mechanism does not cover the server scripts. It can be used in networks with proxy and with a special authorization scheme. The result depends on what profiles customers see and how the server transmits data about the player’s appearance.
What to consider the owner of the server
The skin change is about displaying the model, not issuing privileges or verifying identity. If the network consists of several servers, the settings must be agreed between the components. Check behavior after re-entering, switching between servers and changing nicknames; implementation features may vary according to the version of the plugin.
Post-update verification
Ask two test players to log in through different supported connectivity options, change the look and reset. Compare how they see their own skins and those of others. If the problem occurs only after the proxy servers are switched, it should be looked for in the synchronization of the profiles, not in the textures of the game client.
