What does Plan | Player Analytics do?
Plan (Player Analytics) collects statistics on visits and activity of Minecraft players and presents data in the web interface.
Audience analytics
The server owner can view gaming sessions and visit patterns instead of focusing only on the current number of players online. The data is useful for evaluating retention, activity across worlds, and the effects of updates. The set of metrics depends on the version and configuration of the Plan.
Access to statistics
The dashboard contains information about user behavior, so it should not be left publicly open without a risk assessment. Set up access control, HTTPS and storage rules. If a network of multiple servers is used, coordinate configurations and data sources.
Example of a management decision
After opening the new mode, compare attendance before and after the launch, the duration of sessions and the return of players. One high online peak figure doesn’t prove that the update has held the audience back.
