What does PayNow do?

PayNow is a server addition to the eponymous monetization platform. The purchase is made through the PayNow store, and the plugin delivers gaming goods and privileges to the Minecraft server.

Automatic delivery

After linking the store and server, PayNow products can be matched to console commands. This allows you to give out ranks, sets and other awards without manual confirmation by the administrator. Supported platforms and connection order depend on the current official release; for some networks, a server proxy is used, for others, a plug-in on the game core.

What is different from an economic plugin

PayNow is responsible for linking external purchases and in-game activities, not storing in-game balances. The owner determines what products he sells, how the rights are issued and what restrictions apply. Payment methods, refunds, fees and availability of a particular jurisdiction should be checked in PayNow’s personal account, rather than assuming that Visa or Mastercard support is available in advertising.

Verification of issuance and refunds

Before you start the store, do a trial order and make sure that it is not issued twice after restarting the server. Check out scenarios with offline player, team error, return and cancellation of order. If the store is tied to a network of servers, check which node executes the command and whether the delivery is duplicated simultaneously in the lobby and the game world.
