What does GriefPrevention do?
GriefPrevention helps players protect their buildings with their own sites and access rules.
land claim without reference to the moderator
GriefPrevention builds protection around areas controlled by the players themselves. A survival server resident marks their territory and determines who is allowed to build, use containers, or interact with objects. This reduces the number of conflicts around accidentally damaged bases.
Rules of common peace
It is necessary to decide in advance how much land is available to beginners and how the site is expanding. Too big claims quickly take up good places on the map, and too small prevents you from building. Trusted player permissions require a separate check: access to the chest does not automatically mean the ability to disassemble the entire base.
Trust and neighbourhood
On a server with settlements, players often want to open doors and containers to friends, but not allow them to rebuild the site. Consider trust rules before a public launch. When disputes arise, it is important for the moderator to see the owner of the territory and the history of the purpose of access; protection against accidental destruction does not resolve social conflicts by itself.
