What ChestShop does

ChestShop organizes trading through chests and plaques: players create their own stores in the world of Minecraft.

Store on a regular base

ChestShop associates the chest with the trading offer: the owner puts the goods and price, and other players buy or sell items under specified conditions. For a survival server, it’s a way to build shopping streets and markets without a separate global auction.

Economics and protection

Stores depend on the state of the warehouse and the connected money system. Therefore, it is important to check what happens when there is no goods, a shortage of funds or the chest is destroyed. The protection of the container and the right to set up a store must be coordinated with the system of private property. Also check whether trade in rare and administrative items is permitted.

Market between players

One participant sells building materials, the other buys rare prey. In the market, prices are formed, which depend on supply and demand. But economics requires rules: if an item is duplicated because of another plugin error, the trading system itself will not fix it. First, set up warehouse protection and trade rights restrictions.
