What does BlueMap do?
BlueMap displays the world of Minecraft in the form of a detailed three-dimensional map that can be opened in the browser.
Browser volume map
BlueMap focuses on three-dimensional viewing of the Minecraft world. Buildings, elevation differences and relief read differently than on a flat diagram: the user can rotate the stage and view complex structures. BlueMap is often chosen to present buildings, cities and large public projects.
Rendering and publication
For the map to remain relevant, the server needs to recycle the changed parts of the world. Initial generation requires resources, and the result files occupy the disk. External web access is better separated from administrative interfaces and decide in advance which worlds are available for viewing by visitors.
Presentation of buildings
On a large construction server, a three-dimensional map allows you to see the layout of the city and the height of buildings without entering the game. It is convenient to demonstrate the project to potential participants. Before publishing, limit access to service worlds and check to see if the buildings that the owners wanted to leave closed are shown.
