On the server DemocracyCraft in the district court of the Commonwealth of Redmont received a civil suit eviltom_ against the player dogkoja. The proceedings are noted as pending. This is a custom portrait, put up at auction in the channel #marketplace.

According to the plaintiff, on July 25, 2026, dogkoja placed an auction "CUSTOM PORTRAITS - your skin here ->". On July 28, eviltom_ was declared the winner with a bet of 11,000 and transferred the specified amount to the subject of the auction. After that, the defendant asked to confirm the skin for the future portrait, and the plaintiff confirmed it.

The document states that on August 5, eviltom_ requested information about the progress of work, but received no response. On August 10, he wrote dogkoja to Discord and asked for either a report of readiness or a refund if the portrait was not made. On August 15, the plaintiff sent an in-game letter offering to settle the matter within 72 hours. According to him, it was not possible to contact the defendant and achieve the execution of the order or refund of funds.

The lawsuit is based on two alleged violations of Redmont's rules: breach of contract and non-delivery of goods or services. The plaintiff believes that the contract arose at the time of the bet, the announcement of the winner and payment: 11,000 were to be paid for the service to create an individual portrait. The statement also notes that both participants had more than six hours of game time required to enter into such an agreement under the rules of the server.

Eviltom_ asks the court to recover 11,000 in damages, 11,040 punitive damages — the amount listed as the equivalent of 92 civil penalty units — and 30% of the amount awarded for legal expenses. These requirements reflect the position of the plaintiff; the decision in the case in the published material is not given.
