TownyMC is opening its doors to players for the first time after three years of development. The server begins a closed beta test that will last one week. Access will not be available to everyone, but to those who are ready to actively help the team turn an almost finished project into a full-fledged server.
The main novelty of this stage is the opportunity to get into the main CityBuild for the first time. Systems that developers have been working on in recent months are now available in the game. At the same time, the team warns directly that the work is not yet completed, and individual elements may change as the test progresses.
Participants are not expected to walk on the server, but to carefully check everything they can get to. Developers are asked to study the menu, try commands and not be afraid to look for unusual situations that can lead to errors. Each bug found in the beta phase should help make the release more stable for future players.
In the time spent testing an unfinished project, TownyMC has produced awards. Upon release, all beta testers will receive 500,000 euros of start-up capital, 3,500 crystals and an exclusive Beta Tester tag. This tag, according to the team, will no longer be retrieved once the beta is complete.
To apply, you need to go to the TownyMC Discord server and create a ticket in the #beta-phase channel. In the appeal, you just need to specify your nickname Minecraft and explain why you want to participate in the testing. A link to Discord is posted by the team: https://discord.gg/townymc.
It is important to remember that this is the beta phase. Errors are possible on the server, and all game progress will be reset for release. The exception will be the promised rewards for testers. The TownyMC team expects to go through this first game stage with the community and collect feedback before a full launch.
