PikaNetwork to launch new OpLifesteal season on October 24
On PikaNetwork, a seasonal reset of OpLifesteal is being prepared: players are waiting for a new castle-style spawn, a redesigned survival world, scrolls, an updated store and a large list of fixes.
PikaNetwork announced the launch of the new OpLifesteal season on October 24. The launch is scheduled for 10:00 GMT, but the team warns that the release may be delayed for several minutes. The mode has been updated to Minecraft 26.2, although connectivity from older versions is still available. For a better experience, the server recommends switching to 26.2.
The season will begin with a new castle-themed spawn. To understand the capabilities of the mode will help NPC, placed on the launch pad. OpLifesteal will also feature a seasonal case and scrolls – a new type of items that can be mined in-game, exchanged and used to improve gear.
The world of survival will receive the author’s generation of the landscape instead of the usual vanilla. Players will be invited to explore new locations for base and travel. Another innovation is the rotary gold store: the range in it will change, and items will be sold at discounts. For gold you can buy classes, items for levels, spawners and sets of bosses.
After the resets, personal settings are saved: the switches do not have to be re-installed at the beginning of each season. In the chat, you can see the balance of fragments of another player by hovering the cursor over his name. The /stats menu will receive colors and rank formatting, and the elytra will allow renaming. The store will not be opened during the battle - first you need to finish the battle or leave it.
The team also redesigned a brick-and-mortar store to make buying and selling items more convenient, and eliminated a large number of errors. Among the fixes are dupe ores with Silk Touch, problems with the spawn of mobs and spawners bought, loss of things when exchanging with full inventory, failures of farming skills, incorrect work of cultures, sets, auction, table list, commands /team and /loginstreak. Closed and ways to leave the battle through portals, ender pearls, fruits of the chorus and other mechanics.
After the reset, the purchased ranks and rank improvements will remain, as well as the won teams and ranks from the cases. Inventory, ender chest and backpacks will be cleared; homicide and death statistics, leaderboard progress, levels, rebirths, seasonal ranks, classes and perks will not persist. About the errors found after the release, the developers are asked to report on the forum: for useful bug reports, a gold reward is provided after correcting the stated problems.
