One Life Hardcore completes development and selects new server
The One Life Hardcore SMP team has completed its own development of the main server and opened a vote for the next project. A common lobby, viewing player stats and safe random arrival points in the End are already being prepared.

The development of One Life Hardcore SMP by the author of the update has come to an end. New additions to the main server will now only appear thanks to players. However, the project does not stop: the team has already started work on a separate server and offers the community to decide what it will be.
Several changes are being made to the current server. For two servers, a single lobby will appear, and the /stats <player> command will allow you to see the statistics of any player. In the End, safe random arrival points are also planned. This should spare players a dangerous appearance in the dimension.
The vote considers the option of hardcore survival with a second try: after death, the player gets a lock for two weeks, not forever. For such a server, the fully authored generation of Overworld, Nether and End is claimed, as well as additional mechanics that are not suitable for the main One Life Hardcore SMP.
The second option is designed for those who One Life seems too easy. There will be no passive regeneration of health, and death will remain final. At the same time, a resurrection system is provided: you can return the player using a ritual or crafting recipe. The rules of death and other key mechanics the team intends to discuss with the community in the following surveys.
Regardless of the outcome of the vote, the new server will have its own landscape in all three dimensions. The plans include all standard Minecraft biomes, caves and additional author zones, including Dappled Forest: an autumn forest with red, orange and yellow poplars, fallen foliage and abandoned camps. The project will also be upgraded to the latest version of Minecraft.
Many familiar features will be transferred to the new server: /ol menu, ranks for time in the game, commands for private messages, commands, wills, exit protection during combat, phantom setting, voting and support for Bedrock players. Support ranks will be shared with One Life Hardcore SMP. The developers are targeting the launch in about two months and promise an open test before release.
