One Life Hardcore celebrates 1,000 players and ends Halloween
More than 1,000 unique players have visited One Life Hardcore. The server recalled the last days of the Halloween event, renamed the worlds of the network, updated the lobby and spoke about the rules for dead moderators.
One Life Hardcore reported the first major mark, with more than 1,000 different players visiting the server. The team thanked the community for their play, voting and support, noting that 551 deaths have already been recorded in the world since then. The next goal of the project is 2,500 players.
The Halloween event will run until midnight on November 1. Until the end, players can hunt themed creatures and receive unique trophies. Monsters only appear for those who wear at least two pieces of diamond or unserite armor. At the same time, the rules of One Life remain in force: a meeting with the creature of the event can end the race. For those who do not want to take risks, the command /halloweenmobs off is available.
Among the awards of the event are Reaper items: a viser-skeleton smile, a braid, a cloak, a lantern mask, a horn and a dried flower, as well as a seasonal drink. Separate trophies can be won for the Spider Queen, the Ghost of the Fallen, the Wandering Scarecrow and the wandering fire that only appears at night. After the event is over, all Halloween awards and statistics will be retained. Caught creatures will also remain if the player has given them a name, tied them with a leash, or placed them in a boat or trolley.
The internal names of servers have changed. One Life Hardcore is now labeled as onelifehardcore instead of smp, and Semi One Life Hardcore as semihardcore. For players who go through a compass in the lobby, nothing changes. The lobby itself is also being finalized: there was a new starting zone, a fall into the void returns to the spawn, and mobs, PvP, breaking and opening blocks are turned off to protect the construction site.
Another innovation has to do with books. Signature books and pen books can now be displayed in Discord via [item], as well as selected from the menu [inv] and [enderchest]. The first page is displayed as a Minecraft book, and the First, Back and Next navigation allows you to read the rest of the pages personally. The feature works in Discord shared chat, team chat and staff chat.
The team clarified the rules for moderators killed in One Life Hardcore. They can continue to moderate, but no longer receive stats, game time and achievements, and are also displayed as dropped out in stats, profile, website and lobby compass. Their deaths are once again on the Fallen Players list on the wiki. At the same time, the survey continues about the world for the new Semi Hardcore: players choose between a world with familiar vanilla structures and an option with larger structures and complex mobs. Voting will close on Sunday, October 25.
