More Accurate Server Status Checks and Fewer False Offline Reports
Fixed cases where a temporary address or DNS issue could mistakenly make a working Minecraft server offline in monitoring.
3 in September was focused on status accuracy. In the past, a temporary problem with DNS could look like the Minecraft server itself had gone to OFFLINE. Now, these situations are handled more carefully: if monitoring has not received a reliable response, the server is not marked offline without sufficient reason.
For projects with multiple working connectivity options, monitoring better accounts for available addresses, so a single issue with one less likely to affect the status of the entire card.
As a result, the statuses in the directory became closer to the real state of the servers. This is especially important for owners: a short-term network failure should not give the impression that the server is actually turned off.
Additionally, we have optimized checks on long-unavailable servers so that the main monitoring resources are more often spent on active and recently changed projects.
