Nomad Wars on Cookie Build: refuges, forges and survival
Cookie Build continues with Nomad Wars beta mode for 2-8 players. Before the match, participants prepare in the camp, monitor the moving shelters, extract resources and fight for the right to remain the last survivor.
Cookie Build spoke about the rules of Nomad Wars, a survival beta for 2–8 players, which starts with 30 seconds of training in a well-stocked camp, and uses this time to gather available materials, navigate the terrain and prepare for further movement.
The regime is based on four shelters. Their initial radius is 50 blocks, after which they move for two stages of 240 seconds. The first stage is peaceful, and PvP between players is included in the second. At the end of both stages, the zones converge to the center of the map.
In order not to lose the shelter, players have several landmarks. Close boundaries are marked by particles, and the compass shows the direction and distance to the desired point. A separate trail helps to return from outside the zone. In this case, the preview maps display only the landscape: moving zones are not shown on them.
In the starting camp, you can get wood, food, stone, coal and iron resources. The environment is protected, so the marked materials should be used. Equipment is created according to the usual recipes of Minecraft, up to the iron level.
Publicly available forges are provided for resource processing. Four units of raw iron and one coal are converted into four bars in 20 seconds. The result will be taken by the first player who returns to the forge. Barrels also work as common stashes: they can leave things or take them away. The content is retained until it is lifted and updated along with the usual stock.
The last survivor wins. If after 90 seconds of the final, several participants remain alive, the match ends in a draw. Nomad Wars beta can be played by the /nomadwars play team.
