Cookie Build Nomad Wars: Shelters, Forges and Survival
Cookie Build has released a description of Nomad Wars: Before a match, players prepare in camp, then search for moving shelters, extract resources and fight for the right to be the last survivor.
Cookie Build spoke about the rules of Nomad Wars, a survival mode where participants not only need to collect equipment, but also monitor the movement of safe havens. The match begins with 30 seconds of training in an equipped camp, where you can take wood, food, stone, coal and iron resources to quickly prepare for the next journey.
There are four shelters with a radius of 50 blocks on the map. They move in two stages of 240 seconds each. The first stage takes place without any battles between players, and the second PvP becomes available. After completing the two stages, the zones converge to the center of the map, forcing the remaining participants to meet in the final.
About the close boundary of the zone warn particles. A compass helps to find shelter: it shows the direction and distance to the target. A separate trail indicates a path to return from a dangerous area. At the same time, the preview of the maps shows only the landscape - the moving zones on it are not displayed, so you will have to navigate already during the match.
The scenery of the camp is protected from destruction, so only the marked resources should be extracted. Equipment is created according to the usual recipes of Minecraft, up to the iron level. For the processing of materials, there are public forges: if you put four units of raw iron and one coal in there, after 20 seconds, four iron ingots will appear. The result will be taken by the first player who returns to the forge.
The barrels in Nomad Wars work as shared stashes. Anyone can leave items in them or take the contents, and things are stored until someone picks them up. Such stocks are not updated along with the usual resources of the camp, so finding a cache can be an important advantage – or an excuse to take a risk and return for prey.
The beta version of the mode is available through the /nomadwars play command and is designed for 2-8 players. The last survivor wins. If at the end of the 90-second final, several participants remain alive, the match ends in a draw.
