Pixelmon Storm to host September Mega Monthly Tournament
On the server Pixelmon Storm will start September Mega Monthly Tournament in the format of GEN 7 ZU. Players will be waiting for two qualifying stages on September 26 and the championship day on September 27, 2026, as well as exclusive awards for prize winners.
The Pixelmon Storm hosts the September Mega Monthly Tournament, a monthly tournament for coaches. This time, the competition will be held in the dash of GEN 7 ZU. The format limits the choice of available Pokémon, so participants will have to be especially careful in team building, strategies and the selection of non-standard combinations.
Qualifying matches will be held on September 26, 2026. The early qualifier will start at 14:00 EST, the late one at 20:00 EST. The main tournament day with the definition of the champion is scheduled for September 27, 2026, the beginning is at 14:00 EST. The organizers offer to prepare a strong team in advance and compete for a place in the local Hall of Fame.
The Mega Monthly Tournament is subject to separate rules. The team is allowed to use no more than two legendary Pokémon, ultra monsters or mythical Pokémon. Pokémon, FEAR objects and techniques are prohibited. Also included in the tournament is the Endless Battle Clause rule, which regulates protracted fights.
The winner will receive an exclusive personal chat color as part of the tournament rules, a Champion Series Skin to choose from with one custom texture, a first place on the Hall of Fame pedestal and a personal legendary tag to choose from. The second place is available in the Hall of Fame and BP Alter Battle-Bond Greninja. The third winner will also get a place on the pedestal of the Hall of Fame.
An additional award will be given to the top six participants: each can choose one Plushy. In order not to miss the clarifications on the rules and announcements before the matches, players are recommended to get the role of PixelTourney on the Discord server of the project. The tournament will test not only the strength of Pokémon, but also the ability to find working tactics in the limited pool of GEN 7 ZU.
