DemocracyCraft sued over gold drill deal
The UrbanDispatchMC player has filed a lawsuit against DrippyPVP1234 in Redmont Court. The plaintiff claims to have paid 9,500 game currency for the gold drill through chestshop, but received a renamed chest. The case is noted as pending.

The DemocracyCraft server has registered a lawsuit by UrbanDispatchMC against the player DrippyPVP1234. The application is filed in Redmont Commonwealth District Court and marked with Pending status - the case is still pending. The dispute is connected with the transaction, which, according to the plaintiff, took place on the evening of October 10.
According to the text of the lawsuit, DrippyPVP1234 posted an ad for the sale of a gold drill in a chat room. UrbanDispatchMC offered 9.5 thousand game currency, after negotiations the parties called the price 9.8 thousand, and then, as stated in the statement, again agreed on 9.5 thousand including the costs of the chestshop. To complete the exchange, the players met on plaintiff territory, where the defendant was given access to store accommodation.
The plaintiff claims to have purchased the item through chestshop for 9,500, believing he was buying a gold drill. However, after the payment, he said, he received a renamed chest called "Gold Drill AIASJS." The lawsuit also alleges that the store's product code was visually similar to the code that typically displays a gold drill: "Chest#97R" instead of "Chest#8p3." After the purchase, the defendant, according to UrbanDispatchMC, immediately left the place of the transaction.
The applicant considers that a contract has arisen between the parties: an offer to sell, an agreed price, a counter-provision, an intention to complete the transaction and the legal capacity of the participants. The document qualifies the actions of the defendant as misleading, unfair conduct in trade, non-delivery of the promised goods and illegal acquisition of funds through deception. These assessments reflect the plaintiff's position and are not a court decision.
UrbanDispatchMC is seeking 28,500 in triple damages under the illegal possession clause. If such payment is not appointed, the plaintiff asks for compensation of 9.5 thousand and return the funds. Additional requirements include fines at the discretion of the court, court costs in the amount of 30% of the amount awarded and a court bail, if it is required for recovery. The application lists the materials: logs, footage of the meeting in Oakridge Spawn and the location of the transaction, as well as images of the received item and two chestshops.
While the Redmont court has not ruled, the dispute remains unresolved. Players entering into private deals on DemocracyCraft should carefully check the item and the terms of the store before confirming the purchase - especially if the item is displayed through chestshop.
