Mundo Minecraft prepares to switch to Minecraft 26.3

Mojang has released Minecraft Java Edition 26.3 Wilderness Bound. The update is dedicated to exploring the world, nature and construction: it features the Dappled Forest biome, new Abandoned Camps structures, travel items and additional building blocks. The Mundo Minecraft team said it will monitor the development of Paper 26.3 and the compatibility of its plugins before upgrading the server.

The main natural novelty was the Dappled Forest - a forest that is more often found next to the cold biomes of the Overworld. It grows poplars with red, orange or yellow foliage, new logs, seedlings and a set of wood are available. The color of the foliage of the grown poplar is determined by chance. In this forest can appear sheep, chickens, cows, pigs, rabbits and foxes.

Researchers will also be able to find Abandoned Camps, abandoned camps in different Overworld biomes. Their appearance depends on the surroundings, and inside there may be chests and barrels with prey. The update expands the researcher's map system: they point to different structures, including camps. Such maps have become separate items, and old maps in existing worlds are automatically converted to a new format when downloaded.

For sorties, pillows and thatched beds are added. The pillows come in all 16 colors and allow the character to sit. A straw bed allows you to wait out the night without changing the point of rebirth. It is created from bales of hay, used once and disappears after sleep; it is impossible to establish rebirth with its help in Nether and the Region. The builders received staircases and slabs of all colors of wool, as well as concrete staircases and slabs. Concrete options are created in stone cutters, and wool retain the ability to jam vibrations.

Other changes include the ability for observers to pass through portals between dimensions, improvements to Realms and the interface, and technical improvements to world generation, rendering, data packs, and resource packs. The server cabinet should take into account changes to the Paper API and possible incompatibility of plugins, especially those using NMS and internal APIs. In the new installations, the default value of the white-list property became true.

Mundo Minecraft does not give a date for the transition to 26.3. The server will be updated when the team confirms the stability of Paper, checks the plugins and makes sure that the new version is ready to use. Before that, players should consider that the release of Minecraft 26.3 does not in itself mean that all its new products are immediately available on the server.
