Mineplex Releases Map Update for 10 Game Modes
Mineplex has released a map update: it affects 10 modes, including Castle Siege, The Bridges, Survival Games and Block Hunt. Developers have corrected geometry errors, exploits, spawns and added new routes in individual arenas.
The Mineplex team has introduced an update to the maps, which covers 10 familiar modes for players. The patch not only corrected the technical shortcomings of the arenas, but also reworked individual routes, map boundaries, points of appearance and balance elements. The changes already apply to specific maps and are most noticeable to Castle Siege.
NANO fixed problems at Bawk Bawk's Wrath Mineplex Park and Copy Cat Rocky Ruins: on the first map, the platform could appear inside the wall, and on the second there were areas with holes in the ground. For Hardcore Parkour, Pinewood Creek has removed the barriers at the penultimate checkpoint. Bomb Lobbers Zen has expanded the frontier of the world, and Super Paintball Pyromancer's Terrace has shut down exploits available when climbing trees.
Several fixes have been received by The Bridges maps. On Occisorum, the overly remote border of the map has been adjusted, and on Highcliff Shore, bridges should no longer appear before the match begins. In Survival Games on Elven Citadel removed a lit lighthouse from one of the bridges. These changes are aimed at making the arenas more predictable during the game.
The biggest change was in Castle Siege. On the Alder Coast, wolves now appear closer to the exit and don't take any damage from falling, jumping out of the starting position. The San Marino has added a route with a jump behind the throne room. On Shangri-La, the undead’s point of appearance was moved closer to the castle, new paths were opened from the spawn to the castle and the appearance of wolves was reconfigured. For Helms Revamped, the developers balanced the tunnel behind the waterfall and added more trees in front of the castle so that the undead gained additional shelter.
The update also applies to Block Hunt. On Pirate Island, exploits were shut down under the sunken ship, a random staircase was removed from the roof of the house at coordinates 34 31 16 and the rear island was brought closer to the main part of the map. Mineplex reports that the builder team will continue to prepare new content, so players should keep an eye on the next announcements of the server.
