MineFrost Plans Sift Dimension Islands for SkyBlock
MineFrost plans to open the Sift dimension islands in its Skyblock following the introduction of the new dimension in Minecraft. It will join the existing Overworld, Nether and the End islands, and access rules will be disclosed later.
MineFrost has announced plans to add to Skyblock islands associated with Sift, the new Minecraft dimension, which will be available on the server once the dimension itself is available in the game, and will complement the existing MineFrost Overworld, Nether and the End.
Sift will be the fourth dimension of Minecraft, along with Overworld, Nether and the Edge. Mojang has confirmed that it will be available for the Java Edition and Bedrock Edition in 2027. At the same time, Sift is already presented in Minecraft Dungeons II, released on September 29, 2026: faults lead to a new place, and Meadow and Carapace are named among the areas shown.
However, the mechanics of Sift in Minecraft have not yet been fully disclosed. The way the faults, battles, and rewards in Minecraft Dungeons II are arranged doesn’t allow us to accurately judge the dimension version for Java and Bedrock. Mojang has only confirmed the arrival of Sift in 2027, without releasing the full release schedule and gameplay details.
Therefore, MineFrost does not name a way to access the new island or disclose how it will be built into the development of Skyblock. The server promised to report these details closer to launch. Players should follow the news of MineFrost, where a separate announcement of the opening will appear.
For Skyblock, the new dimension will potentially become another space for exploration and construction as part of the journey from the launch island to its own developed territory. While there are no specifics, the team invites the community to discuss expectations: whether players are more interested in new locations, building materials or joint trials.
Before the publication of official details, you should not focus on the proposed recipes of portals or lists of resources. Only the MineFrost plan has been confirmed: when Sift becomes available in Minecraft, the corresponding dimension islands will appear on the server.
