K.I.O adds reactors, cameras and load fixes
On the industrial server K.I.O appeared new mods: nuclear reactors Create, shared storage, photography, clothing and custom paintings. The Halloween event is also included and the causes of serious TPS drawdowns are eliminated.
K.I.O has released an update with new mods, crafting changes and technical fixes. The main addition was the Create Nuclear 2.0: players have access to three-level reactors, nitrogen cooling and an overheating warning system. Already built reactors and anti-radiation boots are transferred automatically. When melted, only the reactor itself is destroyed, neighboring blocks remain intact, and the irradiation zone does not extend beyond the 16 blocks.
The build also included Create Utilities. The empty motor allows you to transfer rotation without shafts to any distance. Empty chest, tank and battery work as a common storage in frequency, but they can only be used by the player who has placed blocks. This addition expands the possibilities for remote resource transfer and production lines.
Fans of decor and creativity added Exposure and Polaroid – with cameras, film, frames and albums. The Weavers Paradise mod opens clothes and costumes, and Immersive Paintings lets you place your own paintings on the walls. Along with the update on the server, a Halloween event was included. Another innovation is EMI with recipes and crafting tree: mods can be included at will in the launcher catalog.
The recipe for PowerGrid wire has also changed. Now it is created on a stone cutter: from one copper sheet, four wires are obtained. After that, the quest “Electrical Networks” should be counted. Players using technology chains and quests should check the recipe after the update and make sure that the progress of the quest has been updated correctly.
Developers separately reported performance and stability fixes. A leak was closed, which caused the server’s TPS to drop to 5. The server also no longer has to crash due to Geburah boss crystals, and Mekanism multiblocks now create less workload. To get new mods, you need to restart the launcher and wait for the files to be downloaded.
K.I.O operates as a shared world of Minecraft 1.21.1 with mods including Create with Aeronautics, Mekanism, AE2 and the TaCZ gunshot. There are no minigames on the server: the update is designed for players developing manufacturing, infrastructure, nations and military projects in one permanent world.
