House of Embers Supports Java 1.21.9 and Later

House of Embers has expanded support for Minecraft Java. Now you do not need to install the latest client to log in: the server accepts players with Java Edition 1.21.9 and higher, including 1.21.9, 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.2 and 26.3. Customers older than 1.21.9 will receive a message asking them to update the game. Support only applies to Java Edition – Bedrock versions for phones and consoles are not available.

Players on earlier supported versions should consider the limitations of displaying new Cherry Haven content. Autumn poplar leaves, concrete steps and bricks made of cinnabar will be shown as the closest in meaning to the old blocks. To see the buildings as they were built, the server recommends upgrading to version 26.3.

Pet food was transferred to Momo: it is located next to her showcase of pets. The cards now show how many units of each type of food the pets received during the current day. Feed the pet can be the usual action - take food in your hand and press it with the right mouse button. Also specified is the condition for receiving the Dream award: you must spend a total of 40 hours in dreams at Dreamers’ Rest. Only full dreams are included starting from this day.

The /help team now outputs the player's available commands. You can click on the name in the list to immediately substitute the command in the input bar. The compass in quick access still opens the remaining sections. The /inspect <player> team has another feature: it shows the icons of the selected player.

The mechanism of invitations via /broughtby has been changed. After specifying the name, the server asks the named player to confirm the invitation: he receives a message with the options “Yes, I invited them” and “No”. The connection will only be created after the answer “Yes”. If the player is not online, the request will appear on his next login. You can name the inviter within 48 hours of the first visit to the server; the creation of a new character is not reset.

The Kindred icon is now attached to the account, so it is displayed on all the characters of the player. The team also canceled some of the old connections that were created before the changes, but were not real invitations.
