HorizonFrontier has updated the launcher and music of RPG-world
In the launcher HorizonFrontier 3.3.0 reworked the interface and update mechanism, added a queue for assemblies and boot indication. RPG-world in fashion 1.19.0 also received its own adaptive soundtrack.
HorizonFrontier introduced a version of the launcher 3.3.0. The main technical change concerns the update of the client itself: the button in the header again correctly starts the process, and the update archive is now collected and unpacked without previous failures. The protected files of the built-in Java no longer prevent the replacement of files when installing the new version.
If the update after the restart still did not apply, the launcher will report it at the next launch and indicate the location of the log. You don’t have to retrieve files that have already been downloaded: they are saved for a new attempt. Also, the client himself offers to switch to the new version - the button "Update to ..." appears at the top of the window.
The launcher interface received a single visual style for the main page, assemblies, logs, cabinet and settings. In the design, a new font, mint accents, updated cards and a background with a soft northern lights appeared. The main build with its status and start button is located at the top, and below are available tiles with online and ping servers, traversing and the latest news. The side menu became a compact band of icons, and the player profile was moved to the bottom of the window.
The build cards now show the cover, version, downloader and current status. During the update, the card displays the “Updated” tag, the step being executed, the number of finished files and the progress bar. You can put the following build to install or update while the previous one is loaded: the order of tasks is available in the Download window, where unnecessary tasks can be removed. Settings were divided into tabs "Game", "Empire", "Accessibility" and "System", and the Liquid Glass mode received more transparent panels and glare at the edges.
For RPG-world in fashion 1.19.0 added a separate musical accompaniment. It works only with the Horizon Frontier mod: songs are downloaded in a standalone pack, like NPC voices, and updated automatically. In the RPG world itself, Minecraft's standard music is shut down. The soundtrack changes depending on the location – cities, dungeons and other places have their own themes, and some zones have short melodies when entering or exiting.
The music also reacts to what is happening around you. During fights with mobs or bosses, the combat theme is turned on, and after the fight ends, the former composition returns. The sound of the same area may differ day, night, rain and thunderstorms. Volume and disable soundtrack are available through the Music button in the mod settings; the level is also dependent on the standard Minecraft music slider. In addition, the launcher and the game have changed the way they connect to the server: in networks where the status of “offline” was mistakenly displayed and builds were not downloaded, they now choose an address in the same way as a browser.
Open the HorizonFrontier card on BlockRadar to copy IP mc.modkrate.com:25565 and check the BR rating. The current status of the server, online and ping are dynamically displayed there – evaluate the connection and enter the game when everything is ready.
