HarmServer: Clanwars, hide-and-seek and update SkyBlock
In the September issue, HarmServer summed up and talked about Clanwars Headhunters, the massive hide-and-seek on SkyBlock, changes for clans and the upcoming Teamwars PvP event.
HarmServer released a September news bulletin featuring the events of SkyBlock and Clanwars, changes to the hub and clan mechanics, and the first details of the future PvP event, focusing on the end of the week of Headhunters, hide-and-seek events involving Harm and Duncan, and player activity at SkyBlock 3.0.
In Clanwars on September 24 at 18:00 started the week of Headhunters. Each participant received his own head in the inventory: it had to be constantly carried with him, protected and at the same time hunt for the heads of rivals. Playing alone was required, although interacting with the Soklan was allowed. The trophies obtained could be put in the ender chest, and death did not mean final elimination if the player managed to continue to survive and collect loot. The Knakkers, Mercia, Zenith, Doomerz, Lunaris, and Conexus clans were confronted by four armed Quiet Hand henchmen who appeared without warning and took four heads. At the time of publication, the event was coming to an end.
28 went through massive hide-and-seek events on five SkyBlock islands in September, involving 100 players, and the searchers were Harm and Duncan. Round after round, they scoured the islands for hidden contestants until there was a group of finalists left, while there was a competition between the hosts themselves: who would find the players faster. The gap in the final race was 16 seconds, but the winner was not yet revealed - the result is promised to be shown in the video.
The team also announced Teamwars, a major new PvP event that has not been hosted on HarmServer before. Details of the mode have not yet been named, so players are asked to follow up on the upcoming announcements. In the September newsletter, there was a place for community achievements: in the table of game time SkyBlock 3.0 led .Woordencake2053 with 79 days and 4 hours. It was followed by .vinzgames7997 with 59 days and 17 hours, while CosmoElias and Dyleno broke the 54-day mark. The entire top fifteen had at least 37 days of game time at the time of the count.
Among the technical changes, the voice leaderboard in the hub was restored. Fixed the problem with spam messages about the territories of clans when logging into the server. For clans, two parameters were added: a PvP switch between unions and an Allies-only access setting. All clan settings are now collected in a separate menu that opens through the clan information menu. The team continues to review players’ offers every two weeks, assessing their compliance with EULA rules, the state of play and the difficulty of implementation.
