Globeworks has updated the site, anticheat and control profanity
Earth SMP-server Globeworks has improved the site and internal systems: the counter of players is now visible in the cap, online administration is marked separately, and anticheat and filtering of toxic vocabulary have become stricter.
Globeworks has announced a series of changes affecting the site, server systems and communication rules, with the team calling the goal of the updates a more stable, secure and enjoyable game for the community.
The site has a faster way to check server activity: the number of players is now displayed right in the header and on the status page. The administration page has also been updated. If a team member is online, a green dot is shown next to their name, making it easier for players to know which staff member is currently available.
Special attention was paid to protection against unfair play. Globeworks has improved anti-cheat capabilities to identify players who can use modifications or third-party tools for advantage. The server emphasizes that it does not approve cheats in any form: suspects of violations are waiting for strict measures.
The automatic system of control of profanity has also been revised. It categorizes violations. The usual profanity can lead to a temporary blocking of the chat. Racist insults and similar expressions are treated much more severely, including temporary and permanent bans. With regard to hard vocabulary on the server, there is a zero-tolerance policy.
Globeworks has 87 unique players, about thirty more than Discord members. The most noticeable activity, according to the observations of the team, falls on evenings and weekends in European time.
In addition to YouTube, the team has started working with TikTok and is considering partnerships with other Minecraft servers to attract more players. Globeworks positions itself as Earth SMP with a set of proprietary plugins, the source code of which is stored in closed repositories. The developers promise to continue working on new updates.
