Eroded Networks updates launcher: Minecraft search and awards
Eroded Networks has released a series of updates to EN Launcher. Improved search for Java, Fabric, Lunar and Bedrock versions of Minecraft, update the launcher itself, display online, as well as sections of daily awards and invitations.
Eroded Networks has released several EN Launcher updates released from 26 through 29 on October, focusing on more accurate detection of installed versions of Minecraft, clear installation and upgrade actions, and refining social and reward features.
Versions 0.2.20–0.2.24 improve Lunar and Fabric recognition, expand Minecraft launcher search, and make the program’s behavior quieter when running Windows. This function can be turned off. Also, the developers reworked the display of online status and the number of players, and closing pop-up windows became smoother. The automatic Minecraft account binding update does not add.
Separately, in version 0.2.31, the launcher learned how to find Minecraft Bedrock and Preview through the Windows registry. The search takes into account second drives and newer file layouts. The saved content is now separated from the installed games, and the Java and Fabric configuration is still a separate process.
Versions 0.2.28–0.2.32 make daily series, seven-day awards and personal invitations to Discord more visible. In the referral system, there was a more visible progress on invitations that meet the conditions, and the interface received an updated design EN. To receive daily rewards, you still need to log on to the game server after authentication.
Update 0.2.33 starts checking new versions earlier – at the start of the program and after logging into the account. Restart & update now shows the installation progress, does not repeat the setup questions already passed and reopens the launcher after completion. The pre-release version for development remains a separate channel.
Previous releases 0.1.3–0.2.19 also refined session recovery, profiles, friends and clans, management of signed client builds, search for multi-disc games and Lunar mod folders. Checking and accidental deletion protection have been added for packages, and the Install, Repair and Update buttons have become clearer. Support for Minecraft mods continues to depend on the compatibility of a particular client version.
Eroded Networks also announces a reusable online installation program, which downloads and checks the up-to-date installer when it launches, requires an internet connection, and Windows's builds remain unsigned.
