CraftValley Adds Spawners and More Ways to Earn Shards
The new Crate with spawners appeared on CraftValley, and the Shards became the main alternative to Juwelen for cosmetics and plush items. The server also boosted rewards for AFK, voting, piñata and PvP week participation.
CraftValley has released an economic update to Shards and added a new Spawner-Crate to the server. It has nine types of spawners available: armadillo, creeper, iron golem, skeleton, spider, zombie, cow, zombified piglin and blaze. The probability of getting each of the options is the same.
The Spawner-Crate key can be purchased in the store for 5,000 Shards or 475 Juwelen. At the same time, Shards has become a full-fledged currency for some cosmetic content. When choosing a cosmetic item, the player can specify a payment method – Juwelen or Shards – and confirm the purchase. Shards now also sell plush items; Vote-Punkte was previously used for them. The cost of all cosmetics in Juwelen has been reduced by 20%.
The server has increased several regular Shards sources. AFK-Bahnhof now gives out 2 Shards per minute instead of 1. For each vote, the player receives 25 Shards, and the series of votes brings an additional reward: 75 Shards for three consecutive days and 200 Shards for seven consecutive days. This award of 250 euros is retained for voting. Vote-key is no longer issued for voting – it was replaced by 25 Shards.
The piñata has also been affected. Shards are awarded for each stroke, and the first two piñatas of the day are counted in full. At Sunday events at 20:00 and during the PvP week, participants receive 150 Shards for participation. The top three receive 600, 400 and 250 Shards, respectively.
Because of the increased ways of earning, the server revised the price of the keys from the chests for Shards. The new line of value is 450, 950, 1,450, 2000 and 3000 Shards. The update makes Shards noticeably more important in the everyday economy of CraftValley: currency can be obtained in activities and spent not only on keys, but also on cosmetics, plush items and a new chance to get a spawner.
