Cookie Build improves the interface and return to the lobby
Cookie Build has been updated for nine modes. It makes menus and purchases clearer, helps after dropping out and fixes a number of situations with viewers, items, voting and Skyblock downloads.
On September 26, Cookie Build released an update affecting nine game modes. The main purpose of the patch is to make the matches clearer: the developers have finalized the menu, tips, purchases, voting and scenarios for returning to the lobby after dropping out or changing the game.
In Build Battle, players on Bedrock can now view buildings first and then open a vote. In addition, if the participant leaves the waiting, his vote for the topic is no longer left in the choice. At BedWars, stores on Bedrock show the value of the item before purchase, and dropout messages are translated and explain how to get back into the lobby.
Changes were received and modes with the observation of the match. In MicroBattles, the drop-outs return to the viewing point and no longer receive damage as a spectator. In Pitchout, results remain readable during the countdown to return, viewers receive notifications, and messages are terminated after the player leaves. In SkyWars, the tracker responds more correctly to inventory changes, and players who are eliminated are shown options: watch the match or go to the lobby.
In Turf Wars, wool and bow are automatically taken into the hand at the beginning of the corresponding phase, as well as after reconnecting. For Skyblock, a situation has been fixed in which a late download could return the player to the island after exiting or re-entering. In Nomad Wars, after elimination, old zone warnings disappear; instead, tips appear on choosing another game or moving to the lobby.
Finally, in Fat King, the menu remains available directly from the arena. In the waiting area, it is now visible which players are missing, with reports of "caprices" warning ahead of time of their next disappearance. The update doesn’t add a new mode, but it does make familiar matches and transitions between them more predictable for Java and Bedrock players.
