Cookie Build has updated the lobby, Skyblock and cosmetics kit
On Cookie Build, NPC queues in the lobby are again visible, Skyblock has received step-by-step prompts and automatic awards, and the cosmetics store has become available with a single click on Java and Bedrock.
Cookie Build has released an update for the lobby, Build Battle, Skyblock and the in-game store, and the main goal of the patch is to make the wait for matches and the first steps in modes clearer, and access to cosmetic items faster.
In the lobby, each NPC is constantly displaying the lobby number, queue status and number of players in the current match. Players will be able to see if the queue is open, how many players are still needed to start, or how long the game will start. This allows you to assess the situation in the mode before connecting to the queue.
Build Battle has clarified the launch reports. Now the game directly warns that the match will begin even with one participant, and the timer before the start shows the actual waiting time. If a single player is joined by another participant, they will evaluate each other’s work after construction is completed. At least 10 blocks must be placed to receive the award. Build Battle has also been fully translated into Italian and German.
Skyblock received a more explicit accompaniment early in the game. When appearing on his island, the player is given a pickaxe and an axe, and the next action is prompted by a header on the screen, a sidebar with a goal and green sparks indicating the direction. Rewards for tasks, including those missed earlier, are now automatically sent to the bank. The generator sends the stone immediately to the inventory, the tree on the new islands retains leaves, and the texts become clearer in all languages.
The changes have also affected cosmetics. Trace "Spark cookies" are given free of charge and equipped automatically. You can open the store through the Cosmetics emerald on the item panel - this works in both Java and Bedrock versions. The update claims eight new cosmetic items, including chocolate crumbs, cherry petals, blue lights, rainbow and win effects: a rain of biscuits, victory confetti and a big fireworks display. Their price ranges from 150 to 2,000 coins, and a free track "Lucky" is issued after 10 matches.
The store now primarily shows the items already received and those for which the player has enough coins. After the match, the What's Next? block offers makeup available on current balance. The cost of the Musical Footprint is reduced to 750 coins, and the Heart Trace is reduced to 1,200 coins.
