Cookie Build has updated the lobby, Skyblock and cosmetics store
Cookie Build has reworked the information from the NPC in the lobby, added step-by-step tips for Skyblock beginners and made it easier to receive awards. New effects and free cosmetics also came to the store.
Cookie Build has released an update that affects the lobby, Build Battle, Skyblock and the cosmetics system, and the main goal of the patch is to make the state of the game modes clearer before entering the match, and the first minutes on the island of Skyblock - less confusing.
In the NPC lobby again, the lobby number, queue status and number of players in the current game are constantly shown. Players will see if the queue is open, if another participant is needed, or how much time is left before the start. This will make it easier to know where to join right now.
In Build Battle, reports of the game's launch have become more accurate. The mode now directly warns that the game will start even with one participant, and the timer before the start displays the actual time. If a single player is joined by an opponent, at the end of the match both will evaluate each other's buildings. At least ten blocks must be placed to receive the award. In addition, Build Battle has been fully translated into Italian and German.
Skyblock beginners when appearing on their island get a pickaxe and an axe. Further action prompts a header, a sidebar with the current target and green sparks pointing in the desired direction. Task rewards are now automatically sent to the bank, including previously uncollected ones. The generator immediately sends the stone to the inventory, and the leaves are saved on the tree of the new islands. Texts in all localizations also made it clearer.
Changes have also affected the store. The effect of "Spark Cookie" is given free of charge and is put on automatically, and you can open the showcase with one click on the Cosmetics emerald in the item panel - both in Java and Bedrock. The store first shows the existing items and cosmetics available by the number of coins. After the match, the “What’s Next?” block offers a suitable item if the funds are sufficient.
The update announced eight new cosmetic items worth between 150 and 2,000 coins: "Chocolate Crumbs," "Sakura Petals," "Blue Flame Tongues," "Rainbow" and the winning effects of "Rain from Cookies," "Victory Confetti" and "Big Fireworks." After ten matches, players receive a free "Lucky" trail. The price of the Musical Footprint is reduced to 750 coins, and the Heart Trail is reduced to 1,200 coins.
