Cookie Build updated the lobby, Skyblock and added cosmetics
Cookie Build has improved the display of queues in the lobby, made the first minutes of Skyblock clearer and updated Build Battle. Players will also get a free trail, quick access to the store and new cosmetic items.
Cookie Build has released an update affecting the lobby, Build Battle, Skyblock and the cosmetics system. The main purpose of the changes is to make information on the server more visible and the first actions in modes clearer.
In the NPC lobby, the number of the lobby, such as the Lobby 1/8, is constantly displayed, as well as the status of the queue: whether it is open, whether another player is needed, or how many seconds the match will begin. The same NPC shows the number of players already in the game. This should help you quickly understand where to connect.
In Build Battle updated messages before the start. The mode now directly reports that the match will start even alone, and the pre-launch timer shows the actual waiting time. If another player joins a single player, the server will warn: at the end of the match, you will evaluate each other’s buildings. At least 10 blocks must be placed to receive the award. In addition, Build Battle has been fully translated into Italian and German.
Skyblock received a more explicit accompaniment from the first seconds on the island. The player is immediately given a pickaxe and an axe, the header prompts the next action, and the sidebar shows the current goal. The direction is additionally marked by green sparks. Task rewards are now automatically sent to the bank, including those that the player may not have picked up earlier. The generator sends the stone directly to the inventory, leaves are preserved on the tree of the new islands, and the texts are clearer in all languages.
The cosmetics store became more accessible for both Java and Bedrock: an emerald button “Cosmetics” appeared in the item panel, opening the showcase with a single click. Trace "Spark Cookie" is given free of charge and immediately equipped. First, the store shows the items already owned by the player and the options available for purchase. After the match is over, the “What’s Next?” block can offer cosmetics if there are enough coins.
The update includes eight new cosmetic items. Among the tracks listed are "Chocolate Crumbs", "Sakura Petals", "Blue Flame" and "Rainbow", as well as three victory effects: "Rain from the Cookie", "Victorious Confetti" and "Big Fireworks". Their value ranges from 150 to 2,000 coins. The track "For good luck" can be obtained for free after 10 matches. The price of Musical Footprint has been reduced to 750 coins, while Heart Trail is now worth 1,200 coins.
