Asteria MC upgraded to 26.2: sulfur caves and new mechanics

Asteria MC has received the 26.2 update, a major novelty called "Sulphur Caves," a natural subterranean biome that can already be found in the server world, which generates sulfur springs of different sizes on the surface of these caves, and contains common and active sulfur, as well as magma blocks.

Together with the biome in the game appeared sulfur cube - a jumping mob, resembling a slime. After defeating it, the creature splits into two small cubes. The mob has 12 archetypes of behavior, including explosive, hot, sticky and elastic. The type of behavior changes when the cube absorbs various blocks, such as wool, shower sand, or dynamite.

The update also added new materials and blocks. Players are available blocks of sulfur, active sulfur and cinnabar, as well as a sulfur spike and a block of strong sulfur. New resources are linked to sulfur caves and complement their underground landscape.

The server map has been expanded to 30,000 blocks. The new biome is already available for study, so travelers and builders can go for fresh materials and look for sulfur springs in new territories.

Separate changes affected the spawn and the usual server mechanics. There appeared NPC for decor and decoration, which sells beech of two kinds. In addition, you can find a new case with heads and a store for the stars at the spa. In statistics, the indicator “Top bulldozers” was added.

For players who have been waiting for this opportunity, a craft of invisible light has opened up on the server. All three types of quamp and invisibility potion lasting eight minutes are allowed for the recipe. The update has already been installed on Asteria MC.
