AsketMC updates repair, temperature and protection for newcomers
AsketMC VCraft has released a series of October edits: repairs on the anvil now require metal in size, temperature takes into account the type of armor and conditions in the caves, and the first hours of players cover the PvP shield.
AsketMC VCraft has published a series of edits touching on the survival, craft, and first steps of new players, changes that were released from 17 to 19 in October and continue to develop the hardcore survival-RPG server component.
19 changed the cost of fixing the anvil in October, and now requires metal in an amount that depends on the size of the object: for example, a sword needs one ingot instead of the previous four. On the same day, they refined the temperature system, leather armor is better for cold, and mail is better for heat. In caves, the temperature is relatively flat from 6 to 9 °C.
18 each anvil received its own horn quality score in October, which makes the choice of location for blacksmithing more meaningful, while the PvP newcomer shield comes to the server, operating in the first hours after the game starts, giving time to settle into the world without early pressure from other players.
The wave of fixes on October 17 touched on gaining skills experiences and events with bosses. For blocks that the player has placed himself, the experience of skills is no longer awarded. Fault bosses will also not wait for the player to leave the battlefield.
Earlier this year, the server extended the seasons to 24 days each, reworked the skills and highlighted Hunt as a separate development area. Other changes include an ethereal amulet that cleanses from spoilage, as well as a more prominent role of shelters in protecting against cold and heat.
AsketMC VCraft supports Java and Bedrock client versions of 1.7.10–1.21.11. The server is built around survival, crafts, exploration of the world and RPG progression: players are available temperature, hunger, seasons, fishing, alchemy, author creatures, settlements, tasks and battles with dangerous opponents.
