All the Mods 10 8.3: Astral Sorcery is on BacoNetworks
BacoNetworks has updated All the Mods 10 to version 8.3. The main addition was the magical mod Astral Sorcery, and with it, the update included corrections to KubeJS scripts and recommendations for known problems.
BacoNetworks has moved its All the Mods 10 server to build version 8.3. The server is already ready to connect, but players need to upgrade their own client modpac to the same version. The current build is based on NeoForge 21.1.259.
The main feature of the 8.3 version is Astral Sorcery. It is a magical mod built around the energy of starlight and constellations. He offers to explore the world and the sky, direct starlight in the right direction, strengthen the character and change the surrounding space with the help of magic. Players familiar with BacoNetworks’ SkyFactory 4 server may have encountered Astral Sorcery before.
The mod was added to the assembly in its original form: individual quests were not prepared for it and its standard mechanics did not change. Therefore, to master Astral Sorcery is through the possibilities of the mod, without a special server chain of quests. This should be taken into account by those who were counting on a step-by-step introduction to a new magical branch.
In addition to the main addition, version 8.3 made a number of minor fixes, mainly affecting scripts KubeJS. A full list of changes between versions 8.2 and 8.3, including quest adjustments and translations, has been published by the developers of ATM 10 on GitHub.
The authors also warned of two known problems. If items from Draconic Evolution appear invisible, you can turn on the built-in Draconic 2D resource pack or disable the hud_batching option in the ImmediatelyFast configuration. The preferred solution is the Draconic Evolution Render Patcher mod: it fixes the drawing of objects without disabling hud_batching.
Another problem may arise when interacting with Ars Lectern and result in a client’s departure. In this case, it is recommended to break this block and put it again.
