What's Terralith doing?
Terralith expands Minecraft’s landscape and natural biome generation using a standard set of blocks. The major change is the geography of the world, not new recipes or items.
Relief and exploration
The map may include more diverse mountain ranges, valleys, and climatic zone transitions. Since the usual blocks are used, the visually new landscape differs in the shapes and placement of natural elements. The specific list of biomes and the method of installation depends on the release; there are variants of mod and datapack.
Compatibility of generation
Terralith interferes with the creation of chunks, so it should be chosen before the start of long-term survival. The presence of another generator, structural data packs or biome replacements requires separate verification. If mod is added to the old world, new territories may have differences at the boundary of pre-existing areas.
Preparation of server
Launch a new test world with the same mods as the server. Check the appearance of villages, useful biomes and the possibility of normal pregeneration. Save your generation and seed settings along with your backup so that the new version doesn’t change your familiar territory unexpectedly.

How to install
- Check out your Minecraft version and mod downloader.
- On the official page, open Versions and select a compatible release.
- Check the author's instructions and dependencies.
- Install the file in the manner specified by the developer and restart the game.
Compatibility varies between releases. Do not use files from unverified mirrors.
