What makes Sodium Extra?

Sodium Extra adds graphical settings to Sodium and expands the management of individual Minecraft visual effects. This is an additional component, not a standalone replacement of the renderer.

Additional monitoring

When setting up a weak or medium-sized computer, it is important to choose which visual details to save and which to disable for a stable frame. Sodium Extra provides additional options, some of which are missing from the Sodium core interface. The list of items changes between releases; you need to focus on the current version.

The link to Sodium

The mod is designed for a compatible Sodium installation. A random combination of an old Sodium Extra and a new version of the basic render can result in missing settings or a launch error. This is not a separate shader pack or a means of optimizing server logic.

Selection of parameters

Start with the initial values and change one parameter by checking the same scene. If you turn off several effects at the same time and change shaders, it will be impossible to understand exactly which point affected the performance. Save configuration in case of rollback.
