What is NVIDIA RTX Remix?

Mod connects RTX Remix to Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1. Instead of the usual lighting, path tracing is used: rays are reflected from surfaces, colored light is transferred between blocks, and shadows depend on the location of light sources.

How to download and install RTX Remix

1. Make sure you have Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.1 and a GeForce RTX 30 Series or later graphics card.
2. Update the NVIDIA driver to 616.92 WHQL or later.
3. Click Download RTX Remix above, save ZIP to your computer, and completely unpack the archive into a separate folder.
4. Launch it. install.bat from the unpacked folder with the usual double click - not on behalf of the administrator.
5. Select the Prism Launcher (recommended) or the official Minecraft Launcher. The installer will prepare Java 21, Fabric and the necessary components.
6. Log in to the launcher through a Microsoft account with the purchased Minecraft Java Edition.
7. Select a profile NVIDIA RTX Remix for Minecraft and launch the game. At the first launch, the shader preparation can take some time.

Are you using Fabric already? Manual installation requires Fabric Loader 0.16.5+, Fabric API 0.116.10+1.21.1 and Java 21. Move the JAR from the folder. mods file-back mods your game build.
