What's Cobblemon doing?

Cobblemon brings to Minecraft the mechanics of collecting creatures: search, capture, training and battle in a world of blocks.

A New Route of Peace Exploration

Cobblemon inhabits Minecraft with creatures that can be found, caught and developed. Instead of one route, “mine – house – Nether”, another cycle appears: the study of biomes, the search for the right creatures, the preparation of the team and the battle. The map itself remains Minecraft, but the usual walk around the world gets a lot of new goals.

Collection and joint play

For players, it is not only the rarity of the creature that matters, but also its role in the team. On the server, you can build your own rules of exchange and competition, if this is supported by the installed assembly. Any mechanics from other games should not be considered automatically available in Cobblemon: the list of creatures, abilities, interfaces and integrations develop on individual releases. For a shared game, client and server builds must be matched.

Playing with friends

On a joint server, one participant can focus on the exploration of the world, another on the preparation of a combat team, and a third on the construction of a base for the collection. This division of roles arises from the combination of Cobblemon mechanics with conventional Minecraft. When updating the build, save a backup copy of the world and game creatures data.
